Clemmie is a versatile Mezzo-Soprano who enjoys exploring new musical territory and pushing musical boundaries. One of sixteen vocalists selected for the Pulse solo vocal ensemble led by Mary King at Southbank Centre in 2009, she then studied at Trinity Laban with Alison Wells and enjoys performing as a soloist and ensemble vocalist throughout the UK. She has been involved in array of diverse projects, including: touring in Europe as the alto soloist for the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment with all female vocal group Schola Pieta Antonio Vivaldi: providing backing vocals for a variety of internationally acclaimed artist’s including Bobby McFerrin and cult rock group Spiritualized; being one of five solo ensemble vocalists for the premiere of The Bee Symphony as part of Pestival in the QEH; and touring internationally with early music group Sinfonye. She sings for a number of London based groups including Helen Chadwick Group, Trinity Laban Early Music Ensemble directed by Tim Travers-Brown, Hartley Voices and London Voices. She is also a founding member of vocal trio Voice, performing Hildegard of Bingen medieval chant to contemporary commissions, supported by PRS for Music Foundation.
