About me
I am a London-based composer and pianist and specialise in writing songs and chamber music for piano and strings. I tend to describe my style as a cross between the English "cowpat" style and the German romantics with a nod to a diverse range of other influences. Or, if I'm feeling especially brazen, "Finzi meets Wagner" .

Works include "Five Bagatelles for Violin and Piano", "The Awakening" (for two violins and piano) and, most recently, a String Quartet in C major. I regularly incorporate these works into chamber music recitals I give with like-minded fellow musicians, usually in a church in London.

In my other life I am an environmental consultant and provide support on sustainable energy issues to Local Authorities across London and the South East. I am also an unrepentent Indophile and write regularly on sustainable development issues (amongst other things) in India.

Jonathan, thanks so much for your words, much appreciated! We'll upload future events onto the site's events board and would love to see you in the audience if you can make it. Will certainly try to make it to your March concert at Pimlico. Many congratulations on your music, particularly enjoy Bagatelle no.5 - Rhapsody and The Awakening; your music is truly inspirational, keep it up!

All best from all of us at Amor Quintet, meet you sometime soon hopefully.
