Matthew plays the violin since he was five. He has taken lessons with some of the best violin teachers in Greece, such as Nancy Bargerstock and Nina Patrikidou, and has finished his studies with George Despotidis. He has performed in many concerts as a solo artist, or part of a small group since he was a kid. He has also been a part of many juvenile orchestras, and some professional ones, to some of them he was the concertmaster, and has perform with them in almost every major concert hall in Greece (The Athens Concert Hall, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, etc). Since 2003 he works as a private violin tutor and in 2007 he started working in the National Conservatory, Greece (In the Sparta, P. Psihiko and P. Faliro branches). He joined Wastefall in 2003 and together they recorded "Soulrain 21" (Album of the month in Metal Hammer and Rock Hard, GR), and had the opportunity to open for Black Sabbath in 2005. He was also a member of the indie/alternative rock band, Empty Frame from 2005 - 2010 performing many times in clubs like "Rodeo" and "Kyttaro". He also recorded violin for their first album "They think we are eskimos". Since 2003, Matthew and one of his best friends and collaborators created art of simplicity. They released a self financed demo cd in 2005 (Demo of the month in Metal Hammer GR), and their first full length album "caught in this Iless storm" in 2007, which took very good reviews. Matthew wrote the lyrics and most of the music. Right now they are recording their second album. He is also a composer and a comic book writer wanna be...
