Young American Soprano Rochelle Hart's steely, lyrical vocals and emotionally driven artistic interpretations make her a versatile and commanding performer. Her voice has been described as 'a magnificent instrument', with praise for her glorious high notes and exceptional dramatic abilities making her an up-and-coming "one to watch" operatic artist.
Rochelle has a varied repertoire and performance history, and has enjoyed performing across America, England and Europe, singing under the baton of several world-renowned conductors and chorus masters (Vladamir Minin, James DePriest, Nicholas Collon, Gianluca Marcianò, Bruce Brown, Deborah Miles Johnson and Robin Newton, to name a few). She has sung with a number of operatic groups including Floral Opera, Oregon Opera, Creative Opera and the Chelsea Opera Group. She currently sings with the company of Preston Opera and is delighted to be singing the lead role in Opera Seria's debut production of Anna Bolena in 2012.
