We love all things piano!
Run by my colleague Lorraine Liyanage and myself, the London Piano Meetup is a regular social and performance opportunity for amateur pianists age 16+. We meet at various venues in central London for masterclasses with pianists such as Graham Fitch and GéNIA of Piano-Yoga, performance groups to help prepare for exams and competitions, or just to gain performance experience in front of a small, friendly audience, and also socialising with fellow pianists. The aim of the group is to provide a supportive and friendly forum for pianists to meet, play, share repertoire, and socialise.
Our launch event in May 2013, at which Emmanuel Vass gave a guest recital, was hugely successful and very popular, and since then we have hosted monthly events, which attract a regular group of pianists and piano enthusiasts. Our group was recently featured in ‘Pianist’ Magazine’s e-newsletter
Join us on Meetup to find out more about our latest events. Do also join our Mailing List to stay informed of events as they are released. Our events usually sell out well in advance so please do book early.
