Moving in and Getting Started

Ok I'm new to this whole site and I'm new to the whole blogging thing so please bare with me.

Im going to use this blog as an update to you following me as a stream of information updates on what I'm doing at trinity and what its like, although no doubt ill drift off topic and talk about something else entirely.

Ok here goes for your first update:

I moved down here to sunny London on Saturday (3rd September) and all went smoothly, It took nearly 4 hours to get here from my home Town of Stoke on Trent and I was very tired when I arrived but I moved everything in and unpacked quite quickly. Once everything was in place it was time to say goodbye to the parents who then had the daunting task of another 4 hour journey home. I then settled in and life began as a fresher at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (I still can't believe I'm here but ill get used to it at some point).

Registration for the course started on Monday (5th September) at 10 o'clock am and I was up at 7 and there at 9:30 to beat the queues. Here we got our student ID cards for getting around the trinity buildings and a lot of information about the student services and other things that i still haven't finished reading through.

Yesterday (7th September) was the longest day so far as we had lots of information meetings happening all day, including a welcome meeting at 11am and a programme talk on our BMus (Hons) course at 1pm.

The Freshers fair organised by our student union was also held yesterday where we got to sign up for loads of things and get a load more information to read.

ok i think now we are up to date so ill tell you about today.

Today has been a really nice day, we had a departmental meeting at the college were again they bombarded us with information about our course and what we will be doing. I also had an audition today that i think may be for orchestral seating, my audition wasn't the best id played but i hope it was enough. ill let you know when i get my results back.
